Thailand roots • Since 2002
Asia Counsel began in Thailand more than two decades ago.
AsiaCounsel.com first launched in Thailand in 2002 as the website for a Thai–American firm. From the beginning, the idea behind Asia Counsel was cross-border: helping bridge U.S.-connected clients, perspectives, and interests with the realities of doing business and building a life in Thailand.
Today, Asia Counsel returns to those roots as a U.S.-based legal and business resource focused on U.S. citizens, permanent residents, and others with U.S.-based interests in Thailand. The structure has evolved, but the mission remains familiar—understand both sides of the relationship, identify which jurisdiction and professionals belong at the table, and help clients navigate the space between them.
